I have heard tons about Robin Robertson’s book 1,000 Vegan Recipes so I thought I would check it out.
This will be a series of posts. This one will introduce you to the book. In the following, I am going to try various recipes from the book and let you know how they turn out.
First off the book is huge– six hundred and twelve pages, with a lot of information crammed into it!
The author is a great writer and has many other books out.
“1,000 Vegan Recipes” include the following content

-          Appetizers and Snacks

-          Salads

-          Sandwiches, Pizza and More

-          Soups

-          Pasta and Noodles

-          Main Dishes

-          Vegetable Side Dishes

-          Breads

-          Desserts

-          Breakfast and Brunch

-          Beverages

-          Sauces, Relishes, and Condiments

-          Fast Recipes

-          Menus

-          Recourse

-          Recommended Reading

Wow! That’s a lot.

You can see why for the purpose of the review I am only going to do one recipe from each section. I will also likely attempt the dishes with few ingredients, as that is how I prefer to cook. I will let you know what I think.

You can find my reviews by typing “1,000 Vegan Recipes” in the search box in the upper right-hand corner of this page.
