Easy Vegan Breakfast
There are plenty of easy vegan breakfast options that taste great and help you jump-start your day. For a vegan breakfast that’s quick and easy, try cereal or granola.
When it comes to granola, I recommend creating your own. Combine dried fruits, nuts, seeds and grains for a personalized granola mix that is made just the way you like it.
For cereal, I recommend sticking with the basics. Arrowhead Mills offers some puffed grain cereals that are unsweetened and contain just the grain. Ezekiel has three great cereal options, too.
What’s great about the vegan breakfast options from Arrowhead Mills and Ezekiel is that you can control the type of sweetener and the degree of sweetness for yourself.
If you do opt for cereals with sweeteners and a lot of extras, be sure to read the labels. Be on the lookout for possible animal products or animal derivatives such as whey and powdered milk.
Once you’ve found some cereal or granola you’d like for breakfast, pour some plant-based milk on it and enjoy! Soy, almond, rice and hemp milk all have different tastes and textures that can add some excitement to your vegan breakfast.
