Vegan Casual ShoesI love shoes! Really, they can make or break an outfit.

Finding vegan shoes doesn’t have to be that hard. In fact, finding vegan casual shoes is often easier than finding vegan dress shoes.

You may have heard me sing the praises of Payless before- and for good reason. Payless always has tons of options for vegan shoes and accessories, especially for vegan casual shoes.

When shopping anywhere for vegan casual shoes, let your eyes wander to the man-made material options as they are a good bet to be vegan. However, just because a shoes looks like it is all fabric doesn’t mean it is…

Double check the label. It will tell you if there is any leather lining or trim.

If you’re looking for really casual vegan shoes, like a flip flop, I swear by Teva’s Olowahu style. They are totally vegan and quite possibly the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn! The multiple straps hold your foot in place and the sole of the shoe will mold to your foot.

Teva offers new styles and colors of these shoes every summer. If you find something you like, grab a couple of pairs. They don’t come in half sizes, but I am a 6.5 and the size 6 works great for me.

If you are looking for a vegan casual tennis shoe, check out Saucony. They have a couple of different vegan options in different cute colors.

There are of course resources for exclusively vegan shoes out there, though most of them are online and a lot of them carry pricier options. I personally have to try the shoe on to make sure it is comfortable.

I like to have my cake and eat it too: affordable, vegan and fashionable. It can be done with a little label checking and persistence.

Have you found any good sources for vegan casual shoes?

Thanks for this post!! I’ve been wondering about Vegan shoes. I never knew that Payless was so Vegan-friendly either! This makes me happy :-)

Zappos has a whole section of vegan versions of popular shoes! Asics makes their ultimate 81 vegan, and they are by far the most comfortable shoe for biking or running. Make sure you read the materials though because some of them are made with leather.
