Easy Vegan Quinoa Breakfast Recipes

Many of my recipes include quinoa, because it is easy to prepare and makes delicious vegan breakfasts, lunches and dinners!

Here are are two easy vegan quinoa breakfast recipes…

The first recipe for Cinnamon Quinoa adds some delicious cinnamon flavor to bring a wonderful flavor to your quinoa breakfast.

This Cinnamon Quinoa recipe is a nice treat year-round but particularly when it’s a little chilly or rainy outside. Try adding some chopped apples too!

The second breakfast recipe is for Peanut Agave Quinoa. This recipe adds peanut butter to quinoa for an extra hearty vegan breakfast!

Both quinoa breakfast recipes are easy to prepare and incorporate one of my favorite vegan sweeteners: agave nectar. I hope you like them!

Cinnamon Quinoa

  • Time: 20 minutes
  • Serves: 2-3 

Here’s what you’ll need for your Cinnamon Quinoa…

  • 1 cup quinoa
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup of agave nectar

Here’s how to prepare Cinnamon Quinoa…

  • To cook quinoa, put quinoa and water in and bring to a boil.
  • Then turn down to medium heat for 10 minutes.
  • Once it is done, stir in other ingredient, turn down to low and let cook for another 5 minutes to lock the flavor in.

Peanut Agave Quinoa

  • Time: 20 minutes
  • Serves: 2-3

Here’s what you’ll need for your Peanut Agave Quinoa…

  • 1 cup quinoa
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup agave nectar
  • 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter

Here’s how to prepare Peanut Agave Quinoa…

  • To cook quinoa, put quinoa and water in.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Then turn down to medium heat for 10 minutes.
  • Once it is done, stir in other ingredient, turn down to low and let cook for another 5 minutes to lock the flavor in.
