Vegan Artichokes RecipeWhen I’m watching a movie at home, I often want something to munch on but also want to avoid eating a bunch of junk food. This is when I enjoy a tasty plate of artichokes.

This is the recipe I use to prepare Vegan Artichokes. It takes a total of 45 minutes to prepare, but most of that time is just waiting for the artichokes to cook. The actual prep time is only about 15 minutes.

Vegan Artichoke Recipe

  • Time: 45 minutes
  • Serves: 2-3

Here’s what you’ll need for your Vegan Artichokes…

  • 4 artichokes
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 tablespoons safflower
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 cups water

Here’s how to prepare Vegan Artichokes…

  1. Boil water.
  2. Trim any dead parts off of the artichokes.
  3. Place artichokes in water with safflower oil.
  4. Cook for 30 minutes.
  5. Drain.
  6. Drizzle olive oil over the artichokes and apply salt and pepper to desired taste.
  7. Serve hot.
