To the left is a picture of the spread I did for Thanksgiving last year. It was so much fun!
My number one tip for vegan dinner parties is to pick dishes that most people are familiar with. For the main dish, make a big pasta salad. Everyone eats pasta salad, they just don’t always eat a vegan version.
You could do tapas for an appetizer and of course a big salad. Vegan Potato Chip Salad can be a fun dish that will get your guests talking!
You can also serve vegan cocktails. One that I love during the holiday season is Silk Nog and brandy– really delicious and vegan. There are also plenty of vegan wine brands available.
Pick up your favorite vegan cookbook and look for recipes that will look (and taste!) delicious to veggies and omnis alike. By keeping the dishes familiar, people will be much more comfortable with the food and more likely to enjoy it.
Most of all… have a great time!
