Vegan Food at the Food Network
So I hear people talking about the Food Network all the time. I always just sloughed it off figuring there was nothing of interest there for me. Boy was I wrong!
I decided to check it out and there are a bunch of vegan recipes on their website! Even a menu that they put together that is totally vegan.
They have their Healthy Week Feature, that sometimes includes a vegan dish or at least something that can be easily veganized.
Not everything is vegan of course. They definitely include chicken and everybody else in this section, but it is a start!
If you are looking for even more options go through their vegetarian recipes. I lot of those just include dairy, which you can either leave out or use your favorite vegan alternative.
There are tons of places to get vegan recipes. What is really exciting about the Food Network to me isn’t the recipes themselves, but the mere fact that they have them.
To me this is just a great sign of the successful sweep veganism seems to be making.
Not only that- People who may not even have an interest in veganism might end up cooking a vegan dish because they’re browsing on the Food Network, opening their eyes to a whole new world.
What do you think of the Food Network’s vegan recipes?

My special vegan recipe is avocados with raspberry vinaigrette. In these days i cooked for my 4 friends. They really like my vegan cooking.
fantastic news! I was always very sad that Food Network never had anything more veggie than just the occasional dish here and there. I once wrote a comment/request on the website that they think of some veggie themes or shows and sent a couple ideas. Reading your post makes my day. Yes, hopefully the healthy recipes will make veganism a “normal” option and not something extreme. If it’s at least accepted into the mainstream as something acceptable and still delicious, all the better. I have no aspirations for converting everyone, but even if it’s a dish or two here and there, it makes a difference. One dish at a time!
Really? Well I guess you had a positive affect, that is awesome! Thank you for helping to make a difference
. I think that people experiencing vegan food without really seeking it out is probably the better way for people to discover veganism. I don’t like trying to convert people either.
